Starkey Canada joined with Starkey Hearing Foundation to fit over 500 patients each day over a 6 period. Over 3000 children and adults were fit with hearing instruments. The group worked tirelessly long days in order to give the gift of hearing to those in need in Toluca.
Toluca, Mexico is a busy city filled with hardworking, gracious people. We never know what surprises are in store for us when we visit. Its not out of the ordinary for people to bring us gifts in return for the gift of hearing. Weve been given roosters, chickens and one time even a goat. However, each time we tell them to keep their gifts for us until we return, knowing they need the animals and other possessions more than we do.
